HI, I AM THE STRENGTH & CONDITIONING COACH

My Personal Story

My name is Joel Baez. I am the strength & conditioning coach for this program. I like to give you all a brief summary of who I am and how I ended up in the position I am in now.  I was born & raised in Corona, Queens New York. I grew up in a very ruff area surrounded by lots of criminal activity. As a teenager I was easily influenced to doing things I shouldn't have been doing which led me to a juvenile facility for a year. After my release, I was sent to San Antonio Texas to live with my mom and my other siblings. At the age of 17, living in San Antonio turned out to be one of the hardest things for me to cope with. It turned out that things would only get worst as the time went by. Two years later my criminal behavior continued which resulted in six and a half years in prison for Aggravated Assault. It was then that reality struck and my passion was found.


During my incarceration I had severe Anger and stress issues and my way of coping with these problems was that I worked out extremely hard. Sometimes three times a day for over an hour each. Then one day I received a letter through the mail. I was being chosen to be involved in program known as the Prison Entrepreneurship Program where I would be earning a Certificate of Entrepreneurship from Baylor University. This program taught me everything I needed to know about business but also changed who I was as a person. During this program we were asked to build our own business plans and that's when this company Fitrition Fitness Solutions was born.


My passion for fitness was always there because it was my way of dealing with my problems. But what struck me the hardest was when my grandfather passed away from stomach cancer while I was in prison. I knew from that point forward that my life had a purpose to it. I did not want anyone to have to deal with anything like that. So, I knew then what my purpose was and that was to help those emotionally & physically ill by teaching them the healthy way of living through Fitness & Nutrition. Which is why I am here today. I am a very passionate and knowledgeable coach and all I want is what's best for you all.

"The Triangular Effect"

Welcome to our Strength & Conditioning Program, Fitrition Fitness Solutions. 


This is a power building program designed to increase your Squat, Bench & Deadlift. We put in place our Triangular Effect  system to help members transition there body types from one to the other. Confused? Let me explain. There are three body types that a person can be categorized as. The three main body types are Endomorphs, Ectomorphs and Mesomorphs (for more info on body types scroll down.) Our Triangular Effect System is designed to determine which of these three body type's a member falls under through evaluation. Each member will be assessed, monitored and consulted in order for us to provide each member with a  specific meal plan and program specific to your type.


As a result, when followed properly our members physique will then slowly start to transition into the Mesomorph body type category. With our tools and systems in place this has been proven to produce 100% Results. Our Triangular Effect System feeds off of our 3 pillar approach: Fitness, Nutrition, and Accountability.

Simple Process

This process was created so easy for the athlete to follow. Everything is literally done for you and all you have to do is show up. We do all the  monitoring of your progress on a week to week basis and walk you through step by step on what to do and how to do it. From the moment you walk in you become an everlasting athlete of our system, even when your at home.

Professional Services

We have an 87% success rate when it comes to any other fitness program out there. We have a system that no other gym utilizes which is why we are so successful. We have a dedicated coach with over 10 years of experience in various amount of training programs. He is also a current powerlifter himself. Our coach will be with you from the moment you come in. With our proven system in place and the right coaches to direct you. There is no way you can actual fail our program unless you simply don't show up and follow the steps. Every Athlete loses roughly between 1-4lbs a week when following this program. That's over 15lbs a month.

"THE THREE BODY TYPES"

ENDOMORPHS, ECTOMORPHS, AND MESOMORPHS

W.D Sheldon was a professor who came up with an analogy on determining a person's body type physique. He labeled these three physiques as Endomorphs, Ectomorphs, and Mesomorphs. Which I personally believe to be a genius move. Labeling an individual as a specific body type can help that person understand certain roadblocks which can then give them a better understanding on what needs to be done for whenever they are ready to join a fitness program. So, let's start off with a brief explanation of each of these body types and learn what the pros and cons are for each body type.

Endomorphs

Endomorphs are usually solid and generally soft. Endomorphs gain fat and put on weight very easy. They are usually a shorter build with thicker arms and legs. Muscles are strong, especially the upper legs. Endomorphs find they are naturally strong in leg exercises like the squat. They also have a very slow metabolism and when it comes to training the find it very easy to put on weight. Unfortunately, a large portion of this weight is fat not muscle. In order for endomorphs to keep fat gains to a minimum they must always train cardio as well as weights. High intensity interval training works more effectively with this body type. Endomorphs must have a low calorie diet of no more that 1,750 calories a day. Even 1,500 is a great calorie consumption to have. Usually supplements may not be needed as long as the person has a high protein intake with low calorie diet.

Ectomorphs

Ectomorphs are very lean and slim people who have a fast metabolism but struggle to put on weight. They are very good when it comes to cardiovascular training. Which is anything long distance or done with time intervals. They are your typical skinny guy or lady. Ectomorphs have  a very light build with small joints and lean muscle. Usually they have long thin limbs with stringy muscles and shoulders that tend to be a little thin with a little width as well. Some more typical traits of ectomorphs are flat chest, small "delicate" frame and bone structure., classic "hard gainer". In order for ectomorphs to put on weight they have to have a high calorie diet and reduce cardiovascular training to a bare minimum and focus more on heavier loads during weight training. Ectomorphs should also eat before bed to prevent muscle catabolism during the night. Generally, ectomorphs can lose fat very easily which makes cutting back to lean muscle easier for them.

Mesomorphs

Mesomorphs on the other hand are the most favorable body type. Why? Because they have a large bone structure, large muscles, and are naturally athletic. They are the best body type for body building. They have no problem gaining or losing weight. Mesomorphs are naturally strong  which is the perfect platform for building muscles. Mesomorphs are best at weight training . There gains are usually seen very quickly, especially for beginners. The downside to mesomorphs is they gain fat more easy than ectomorphs. This means they must watch there calorie intake. So, a combination of weight training and cardio usually works best for this type.
